the rules this year are clearly a mistake.

This car reminds on the Panoz. But my feelings tell me that it not gonna be fast!

i wonder why you think that, apart from the fact its that new lotus/caterham r600 (i think) with a massive engine.

i prey to god the the Pesacrollo Judd looks ok. my altime fav car/team, 2009 was a awsome year.

Well Chris I am not an areodynamics engineer. But the Aston Martin looks so beefy. I meen the air has no way to escape from the car. There are two possible ways. Above the car, which generates downforce and drag and on the other hand around the car, which simply produces drag. Well Aston Martin knows why the have choosen such a style. But look at the Audi R18. It has a channel for the airflow to escape to the side(behind the front wheels). I don't know but in my oppinion the Audi and Peugeot looks much more efficient.
And don't forget a car has a suspension too and I personally cannot believe that Aston Martin has a better suspension than Audi or Peugeot. Well put the Audi a gasoline engine on and I suspect it will be faster than the Aston.

i tell you what the field is going to look like...........
