Thrilling races many duels. At the GT-Travel championship of the Endurancefactory, there are fighting GT1 and GT2 cars together for their points in their own classes. This championship is based on rFactor with the Endurance Series modification of Enduracers-Modding-Team.
Rules
1. Sign in
Every driver with the appropriate license signs in together with his teammate.By signing in to the championship you declare that you have read the rules and understand it.
2. Server
You can enter the server via rfactor lobby or our website. The link connecting you to the server is placed all the time in our liveview. If there is a problem with the server, which does not make it possible to start the race, we will announce it on our website and set up an alternate date. All races, which will be aborted prior the 75% margin will be repeated. Races, which will be aborted after the 75% margin,then all results will count in the moment of the termination.
3. Briefing
Prior every race there will be a drivers briefing. The drivers briefing is a must for everyone. If you miss the briefing you should inform yourself by the racecontrol or other drivers. The briefing mainly takes place before the official qualification race. During the briefing we please every drive to stay in the pits. After finishing the briefing we give you plenty of time restart your pc to be well prepared.
4. Qualification
The qualification race takes place in two groups. Normally the GT2 starts first and has 15min time to fight for pole position. After 15mins the GT2 will be advised to enter the pits and the GT1 is allowed do enter the track. Also the GT1 has 15min time to fight for pole position.
If you are on an in- or outlap the car on a fast lap has priority. Because the qualification race is a closed session you should be there in time and even better not losing the connection to the server.
WarmUp:
The warm-up starts directly after finishing the qualification and has a maximun duration of 15min.
Reconnaissance und start
The grid drives into their starting positions. It is a must for everyone to do this lap.
The formationlap will be driven with the first lap of the race. Every driver has to hold his line and should avoid doing crazy maneuvers. Hard braking and acceleration is forbidden. The currnet leader is allowed to set the speed with a maximum of 160km/h. Then he recollects the field early enough prior start/finish and reduces his speed to a maximum of 100km/h. The leader of the GT2 class should leave a safe gap(10sec) to the last GT1 to give everybody enough room for the first coner.
5. Race
As soon as the overal leader crosses the start/finish line you are allowed to overtake. We especially expect respect during the first corners to avoid serious incidients. The races are quite long, so no race is won during the first corners.Overtaking and especially lapping should be done fine and with respect of each other from both drivers. It is not allowed to change the line when your oppenent is already alongside you. Several line changes prior the overtaking maneuvers are not allowed too. Respect the lines of your oppenents. The GT1 has to search their way arround the GT2. There is no commitment that the GT2 has to go off the line.
6. Miscellaneous
Basically you have to stick to the track limitations and in common they are well visible by white lines. This lines are not allowed to cross with the full car. Exceptions will be announced during the briefing. At the pitexit it is not allowed to cross or to touch the white line.
Restarts
Basically no restarts but exceptions are possible. Who encounters a disconnect or is not able to be in time for the start due to other reasons, has no chance to take part in the race.
Teamspeak und Chat
During qualifying the drivers will be advised to keep silent. Every team has the opportunity to arrive at his own channel and is able to compet on the race without any disturbances.Who remains in the main channel should be aware the he could be disturbed by conversation. You have no chance to protest against it.
You are not allowed to use the rFactor chat durng qualification and race too. Even in the most severe cases. Who has the oppinion to post something nonetheless, has to face a punishment.
7. Protests
Protests can only be declared via the racecontrol form. Recieved mails and protests will be analysed and punished regarding the safety scale. Mainly: Both crashers should have to talk to each other via PM, ICQ or Teamspeak. If that is not possible you can use the protest form. The protest form is available on monday after the race to avoid any emotional protests.
The jury consists of one admin and two pilots of the grid. The meeting normaly takes place on Wednesday or Thursday after the race and the decisions will be announced after that. You cannot protest against the decisions of the meeting.
8. Punishments
The jury decides any punishment according to frequency and severity . In severe cases there could be the possibilty to revoke gained championchip points.
