Our E-LMS championship will allways be driven by four classes. It is based on the fantastic modification made by the Enduracers-Modding-Teams running on Rfactor.
// A long season is finally finished

Nearly six months long and all 14 days, it was time to put yourself behind the wheel in front of your home pc, doing race three hours long together with the Endurancefactory and sweat like a fare thee-well. After some unscheduled problems regarding the safety car and canceled results of the first race, finally the 10 race long Endurancefactory season was able to begin.
The first official stop was on the legendary racetrack of Road Atlanta. Three hours up and down was a hard test for the cars and the concentration of the drivers. Petras Ramanauskas was able to gain the first 20 points in the P1. Harry Auer, racing in the P2 and defending champion Sven Krischke(GT1) and finally defending champion Frank Ewe(Gt2) started in the season with a victory. Of all Roat Atlanta winners only Frank Ewe was able to gain another victory throughout the year.

Next stopp was at Long Beach. The tuff streetcircuit of Miami stressed every driver. With a race distance of 1H 45min and after some car body damage finally 19 drivers were able to finish the race.
The third race took place in Europe. In the sunny Italy. The fast circuit with his both chicanes and the Parabolica was driven by 25 drivers and ended succesfully. Some incidents finally led to some retirements. Marinus Rieder gained his first victory in the GT1 of the season, Frank Ewe's second one after Road Atlanta. Chris Woods, who retired during the season, won his first 20 ponts and Aidas Sakalninkas did it in the P1.

Next stop on that weekend was the rainy Silverstone. 32 drivers fought hard for their points. After gaining pole position, Martin Ulrik was able to achieve his first 20 points in his Aston Martin DBR9. Marcel Wiederhold won his second race in his Spyker and was leading the championship slightly in front of Frank Ewe.
A lot of turmoil at the beginning of the legendary LeMans race. The cars are reaching the rev limiter too early, too long straight - unhappiness before the race because the racecontrol didn't change anything at all. Whether this race will appear in the 2011 season is not clear at the moment. Consequently the present drivers had to face summer heath and boredom and therefore only the half of the grid reached the finish.

For the first time in the E-LMS history, we were racing at Japan. The track below Fujijama invited all drivers for typical japanese food. First Marinus Rieder retired in the GT1, but after a short break he started his Comeback. As a guest driver in the GT2 he started in the Porsche and finished the race without gaining points. Thomas Söhmisch was able gain his first victory and the GT2 was getting closer like all other classes.
Back at the United Staates, Jan Henderkes was able to achieve his second victory in the GT1. The race, which ended during darkness, was tuff for many drivers due to high curbs. One mistake and its over. Therefore only the half of 25 drivers finished the race. Michael Dinkel - made his second victory in the P1 and gained another 20 points and finally he was able to arrange a little gap to his contender Peter Enders.
It followed the 8. run back in Europe. What does the organisation thought of sending the teams back over the great pond - it is very expensive. The costs were too high for some teams and consequently ony 23 drivers took part in the final race back in Europe on the Nurburgring. Both very succesful teammates Boris Cordes and Patrick Viol had to struggle. While Viol was able to win the race, Cordes only finished race in the points. Harry Auer from the Beacher Team, which was able to take part only on certain races due to budget, gained second position. A lot of excitement in the GT2, Wiederhold, Dittmann, Augustin and Söhmisch on eye level.

Again back at the Staates for the last races of the season. At first the Endurancefactory stopped in Laguna Seca. A simulated 12 hour race makes the hell of a lot fun. After his retirement in Nurburgring, Sven Krischke had again bad luck - Engine failure on lap 4, Martin Ulrik and Marcus Gerzack retired during the race too. Jan Henderkes made the victory in Laguna Seca and gained the title.
So final race in Sebring. The GT1 had no fun at all due to chronic lack of drivers. A big surprise happend in the GT2. Marcel Wiederhold lost his almost saved title to Mario Dittmann after a retirement. The P1 was already decided and Michael Dinkel saved the championship in Laguna Seca. Surprise in the P1, Rocco Froemmig on place 3. Consistency and presence will win finally. Andreas Herber was the only P2 driver who saw the checkerd flag and was able to save the third place.
Finally we want to congratulate all winners and thank all driver for their presence to the end. Surely it was not always easy to understand everything that happend, that counts for both, the drivers and the admins. But in the end we are all happy and proud that we made it and we are all looking to the future. What the future will show, you will definitely recon it in a couple of days. We do not keep our feet still.
