"Wir haben das erste Rennen verpasst,deshalb fehlen uns sicher Punkte... Dann der Motorplatzer in Monza, der mir und meinen Teamkollegen das Rennen kostete und wertvolle Punkte, da wir beide in Führung lagen. In Lemans kostete mich ein Konzentrationsfehler den Sieg und auch in Mid Ohio warf ich einen sicheren zweiten Platz weg. Das summiert sich sicherlich und am Ende wird abgerechnet..."

Zudem kam es in der vergangenen Zeit im NoGrip Racing Team zu gewissen Spannungen, Teamchef Peter Enders forderte von seinem Fahrer Schützenhilfe im Kampf um die Meisterschaft. Er habe  nach den Resultaten der vergangen Saison und den Testzeiten vor der aktuellen Saison mehr von seinem Fahrer erwartet. Es hagelte Kritik,Enders bemängelte den übermotivierten Fahrstil Halls ,der oft das aus für ihn bedeutete. Zudem kam Hall bei 2 Rennen zu spät zum Qualify und musste von ganz hinten starten aber wieder mit einer Null Nummer und das in 6 Rennen.

Nach einer umfassenden Fehleranalyse und einer klärenden Aussprache findet Hall zu neuer Stärke zurück und arbeitet motiviert im Team,was er am Nürburgring beweisen wird.

So wird das Team wieder frei auffahren und das Beste geben um die Saison so erfolgreich wie möglich abzuschließen.

Edit: (über eine Vertragsverlängerung mit Hall wurde noch nicht gesprochen...)

He quotes that it was a ‘shocking’ move and life changing to be racing alongside one of the best drivers in the business,  Peter Enders, the former LMS champion was surprised by his teammates performance and put him off edge for the first half of the 2009 season.

Towards the end of the season, the team got into its stride, wining many of the last race’s and at Spa the team finished 1-2 and there for bagging a healthy 36 points for the constructors championship. And over all, Peter finished 2nd just due to reliability problems the team was unable to make the last 2 races.

The Problems were due to the Judd engine, so this year the team has signed a 5 year contract with Mercedes-Benz, the new engine is more powerful than the Judd and more reliable, so the fuel economy may drop but the ‘more power makes up the difference’ says Team Boss Peter Enders.

The new Engine and sponsor RedBull, has high hopes for the Team, and since the takeover by the name of NoGrip racing, the team is highly confident that they can clinch the championship in 2010. In 2010 the team has chosen a new car for this year’s Endurance championship, they decided to go with the new Epsilon Euskadi Lmp1, ‘the new car is perfect’ says driver Christopher Hall.

At the end of the 2009 season the team has moved from Surrey in the UK to their home town in Germany, the mover was ‘exciting’ says Peter Enders.
Over all the team has high expectations in 2010, and is looking forward to the season which lays ahead.
